ALMANAC exhibited and organised a session on IoT technologies for Smart Cities at the event which attracted 400 participants from more than 20 countries. At the exhibition, the first workings of the ALMANAC platform were shown.

ICT for Smart Water Management
Partners Telecom Italia presented ALMANAC at the Smart Water Systems Conference on 28-29 April 2014 in London. Focus was on the deployment of ALMANAC smart city solutions in the City of Torino.
In January 2014, the Almanac project participated in a workshop on the development of smart water meters and the services they can offer in making data available for consumers online.
The ALMANAC project is co-funded by the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement no 609081, objective ICT-2013.1.4 'A reliable, smart and secure Internet of Things for Smart Cities'. Duration: 1st September 2013 to 31st August 2016.
